Genre: Third person shooter/ Survival Horror
Narrative: The games narrative follows Joel a survivor who has been living in post apocolypse America since the start of mysterious outbreak that turns people into unrecognisable monsters 20 years ago. Joel works as a smugller with his partner Tess and sneaks supplies into places called quarentine zones which were setup by the military after America was put under martial law. The gmae really starts however when Joel is asked by the leader of a reble group claled the fireflies, to sneak a young girl out of the quarentine zone and to some of the fireflies men on the other side of Boston.
Characters: The characters are one of the best parts of The Last of Us with characters like Bill, a man who has been living mainly on his own in a town called lincoln who used to give Joel supplies to go back to the quarentine zone with. The character of Bill develops very quickly over a short ammount of time and the player develops a connection to him. Then their are characters like Sam and Henry a man and his younger brother who in many ways are simaler to Joel and Ellie, the young girl Joel is transporting. However no matter how many characters you are introduced to in the game it will always end up being just Joel and Ellie.
Target Audience: The game is aimed at people who enjoy things like the wlaking dead and other zombie films or T.V shows. However the story could appeal to anyone becaus t is about the establishment of a kind of Father/Daughter relationship between two people who didn't rellay seem to like each other at the beginning.
Platforms: The game is available on PS3 and PS4.
Personal reccomendation: In my opinion The Last of Us is one of the best games out there with strong characters and cinima blockbuster worthy plot. I would reccomend the Last of Us to anyone.

LO2: Game review comparsion
Grand Theft Auto V review:
IGN(Online): IGN gave Grand theft auto 5 a 10 which is the best score they give. Throughout the whole review they talk about how good the driving mechanics are and how there is so much to do in the world but the only negative point they mention is that there are some 'Little issues' with the games multiplayer aspect which is a temporary issue which has been fixed so by IGN's standards GTA 5 is the perfect game.
PC Mag: PC Mag listed the pros and cons of GTA 5 among the pros are things like the graphics and the huge open world and the engaging storyline.However PC Mag highlight more problems with GTA 5 than IGN did because they mention GTA 5's companion app and the fact that it is not available on android they also mention the fact that many people could not access the games multiplayer and while this problem has been fixed there ar still frequent problems with the games online servers.
